Today Evora IT Solutions GmbH has received two Great Place to Work® Awards: for “Best Employers of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses 2020” and “Best Employers in Baden-Wuerttemberg 2020“.

Evora took part in the Great Place to Work® competition for the first time and was able to take 10th place in the category “Best Employers of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses 2020”. In addition, we are delighted to have won an outstanding 3rd place in the “Best Employers in Baden-Wuerttemberg 2020” competition in the category of companies with 10 to 49 employees. The Research and Consulting Institute honored companies that offer their employees the most attractive and beneficial working conditions.

And indeed, Evora does a lot to play in the top league. In addition to professional skills, great care is taken to ensure that new employees fit in with Evora’s values and workplace culture – as the basis for a sustainable and long-term working relationship. We strongly focus on team spirit in our virtual collaboration, during various co-working opportunities and joint celebrations.

We are very pleased about the awards we received, which have two important meanings for us. Timo Elbert, General Manager and responsible for employee recruitment at Evora explains it this way: “On the one hand, it is important for colleagues to have an external award for their company which they can be proud of. On the other hand, it helps us to position Evora as a good employer in the difficult recruiting market and also to have it independently confirmed that we have an exceptionally good working culture”.

In addition to information on HR measures and offers, the basis for the award selection was a detailed anonymous survey of employees on key workplace issues such as trust in managers, quality of cooperation, appreciation, identification with the company, career development opportunities, remuneration, health promotion and work-life balance. The results of the two internationally proven survey instruments (Great Place to Work® Employee Survey + Culture Audit) were weighted at a ratio of 2:1; the employee response is therefore the main focus.

“The award stands for a workplace culture that is highly characterized by trust, pride and team spirit,” says Andreas Schubert, Managing Director of the German Great Place to Work® Institute. “Attractive working conditions and trustful cooperation are a central key to economic success and the ability to master future challenges”.
