Great Place To Work recertified

Evora IT Solutions GmbH has received the Great Place to Work® certification for the second consecutive year.  In the internationally proven certification process, the company faced the evaluation by its employees and received recognition for our attractiveness as an employer. “The award stands for credible and fair leadership and the active encouragement of employees. Respect, trust, pride and team spirit are to a large extent part of the corporate culture,” says Frank Hauser, Managing Director of Great Place to Work® Germany.

Timo Elbert, managing director of Evora Germany explains: “We are proud of our corporate culture and the resulting motivation and performance of all employees. Our employee-defined core values and the team spirit are important elements of our continuous success. We are driven by trust at all levels and the will to work together to find solutions for new challenges”.

The Covid-19 Pandemic has provided new challenges for employers, so being judged a Great Place to Work® this year is even more rewarding. Even though Evora was equipped with a well-functioning virtual work model before the pandemic, the new reality challenged us to maintain and cultivate our values. Our international team took various measures to minimize the impact and maximize our teamwork. Our regular co-working days were “virtualized” as much as possible, and shared entertainment was offered with virtual events like escape room sessions, online games, and wine tastings. To keep mentally and physically fit, an exclusive virtual yoga course was booked for all employees from https://www.theyoganest.de/. Employees were given branded face masks and a snack box as a little encouragement. We stayed in touch with daily10 minute hang outs, fun quizzes and games to keep things interesting. As the pandemic weeks turned into months, the team has repeatedly come up with new ideas to help us get through the situation together. Along the way, the team has been growing, adding 5 employees in Germany and Austria since the pandemic began. This reinforced the team spirit and helped us hone our virtual onboarding process.

Among many other measures, the Great Place to Work® competition is an important indicator for the company management to find out whether we are still on the right track and how our company culture compares to similar companies. Our goal is to maintain and further develop an exceptional workplace culture and thus differentiate ourselves from the competition. Only in this way can we guarantee sustainable corporate success together with our employees.
