Building modern business web apps
Intuitive
Your app’s interface should be as intuitive as possible. Creating a user-friendly UI is one of our highest priorities in creating a solid enterprise-level app. By consistently using common schemas in our design we make the user experience feel familiar and intuitive so the audience don’t need to figure out what to do.
Fast
Speed is also important to the user experience, as you can’t expect people to wait for a slow app to load. We do everything needed to optimize features, design, and code in order to identify performance bottlenecks and cut down on load times.
Simple
Many web apps are too complex. We aim to simplify them without sacrificing the functionality. In order to create lightweight user experience, we first look to reduce actual complexity and then to minimize perceived complexity. The result is a lean streamlined application, that rewards users with a gratifying experience.

Evora took the project team at Siemens Healthineers on an agile journey with the common goal of providing the mobile service technicians with a successful app for their daily work. The constructive and friendly team culture contributed to the success just as much as the cooperative and trusting collaboration.

Businesses are unique, and so are their challenges. Evora designs, builds, and implements custom-tailored solutions based on modern technologies and best practices. As a long-time SAP partner, we have extensive experience in developing custom apps and connecting them to SAP backend systems.

Custom apps are justified when standard SAP apps don’t support critical process steps, when UX needs to be radically simplified for specific personas, or when multiple systems must be combined into one screen. Evora usually recommends a “standard‑first” approach and only adds custom Fiori/UI5 apps where they clearly improve adoption, data quality or process throughput.
We typically use SAP BTP or on‑premise gateways, exposing SAP data via OData or REST APIs with proper authorizations. The custom web app then consumes these services and writes back transactions such as confirmations or requests, so SAP remains the system of record while the app offers a modern UX.
Intuitive screens, guided workflows and context‑aware defaults make it easier for technicians to enter accurate data. For example, pre‑filled equipment, dropdowns for damage codes and in‑app validation drastically reduce errors and missing information, which leads to better analytics and decisions in SAP.
Screen Personas allows us to simplify and re‑arrange classic SAP GUI screens without changing the underlying logic. Where more change is needed, we design Fiori apps that expose just the fields and steps needed for a given persona, improving usability while leveraging existing backend functionality.
Evora prefers extension points, side‑by‑side apps on BTP and configuration over modifications. We document all customizations, align them with SAP’s roadmap and periodically review whether new SAP standard features can replace custom logic.
